    Hi Glenn,

Would the Diagnodent give you an accurate reading of the decay below the amalgam interproximally?

A strong case for the use of scope.

    Thanks again.

Glenn you are busted big time. I was waiting for you to slip. I just sent Don Coluzzi an e-mail with the link to this site. He should be getting in touch with you any day now about how you activated the diode tip! You would think that Bob Barr has influenced you! smile.gif

Haha David……now think things out clearly for a minute.

Could it be its not activated but char from the other side of the box where I cut the tissue already……..

AHHA……..correcto mundo. THe diode is ready to coagulate after cutting already the other side. It will coagulate by cutting again, but in all honesty if I wanted to coagulate I should NOT have initiated the tip.

WHat you see is from the removal of tissue from the other side of the box when I thought…..hey I better shoot a photo.

To do try coagulation instead of cutting it is a non contact procedure requiring no initiation

Good eyes, but you STILL NEED A SCOPE.

Off to the ada to sell more unknowling souls on the perils of practicing without a scope.

    JUST KIDDING.

Glenn – These pics are amazing! I’ve got a scope coming in about a month. I can’t wait to see so close. Thanks for placing posts so frequently. I appreciate your willingness to share.
