Advice for a Potential laser buyer

If you are looking for a laser that cuts hard tissue well and soft tissue as well thew waterlase or waterlase md does the trick…..Other comparable products are Hoya’s Delight laser and Opus’s laser as well…Play with all before u buy…I am a waterlase user and love it….If your love is truly perio look at Milleniums Periolase….
All are practical for a GP..
Anaestheisia for the Waterlase for me…hard tissue 80% no local soft 100% no local…But the advantages even with local really outweigh other modalities…Good luck and welcome aboard…

do you have the new MD or the original waterlase? do you see enough of a difference in the MD to justify the additional cost?

What do you want to do with your laser?

Treat teeth?

Treat perio?

Bob,
I would like to do some hard tissue procedures and then branch out into the soft tissue procudres I am referring out–crown lengthening, gingivectomies etc
I also want todifferentiate my practice form others in the area

through reading here and on DT I have narrowed my choices down to:
1) waterlase MD
2) original waterlase or delight + diode laser(later)
I have gathered for most owners it is more or less a personal preference?

delight–the assortment of tips is nice as is the general feeling they are more reliable
the handpiece of the waterlase is nice especially the MD–not as much difference in my high speed which may make for a smoother transition

CE with the waterlase seems to be more abundant??

any help is appreciated
