Glenn van AsSpectatorGreat result Jeff and I think these cases are perfect for a little nip and tuck with whatever soft tissue laser you have.
Beautiful result and no osseous needed.I dont think that you can do what you did with either a bur, electrosurge or a scalpel..
Nicely done my friend………
CLAP CLAP CLAP

mkatzSpectatorI agree that it is a nice result… and it can be done easily with a scalpel. Don’t underestimate the power of “old” standby tools.
BenchwmerSpectatorI haven’t picked up a scalpel for a gingival surgery since 1999.
Why would I?
Increased patient comfort, increased rate of healing, less anesthetic, no sutures, less chairtime, bloodless.
Patients go to soccer practice right after surgery. No pain killers needed. Parents sit in the operatory and watch if they want. Quick, clean, fast. Wonderful technology and service for my patients.

vmarinoSpectatorJeff, I am new to Periolase. I was just referred a patient for bleaching/whitening.
Can you please give me the details of the procedure or refer me to a source?
Thanks
Val
BenchwmerSpectatorVal,
I usually use 30 minute tray bleaching (Colgate).
For a single tooth or special case, I use rubber dam, a mixed gel or powder/liquid inoffice whitening (Shofu)
Use NdYAG defocused as the heat source , 3 times.
Takes too long for everyday full mouth bleaching.
