Robert Gregg DDSSpectatorHey Elliott,
Not to make any excuses as I agree the postings are light lately. From me as well.
Postings go in phases and “seasons”. In summer, docs are off on vacations, trips with familys. Glenn is in Costa Rica. Ron is water skiing EVERY day, then will be in San Antonio next week. Allen Williams is dating 4 ladies right now instead of his usual 2 as in Winter months.
So many just have time to “check in” and see what’s up!
I know I have been real busy with 4 new staff members and a change in my accounting system and a new CPA.
I am still taking photos and will have a follow up in the diode section on the case I posted there of asymetric bone fill, so Danny Melker can see there is indeed new bone in the distal.
Anyway, I’m with you. I’d like to see more folks posting, though some in the past like Glenn and Jeff have been criticized pretty hard when they did. So when others see that, they figure there are better things to do with their time.
After all–Sun’s out, surf’s up, water’s glass and kids are out of school.
Take heart. The boys/girls will be back in a few weeks.
Bob

but it doesn’t cost anybody a dime to post here. Elliot..actually it does, but that is beside the point. 😉
Elliott, one of the difficulties in getting reponses, especially about procedures is the availability of pictures. Pictures show what is very hard to explain and just beg for a response. Often times the posts regarding procedures w/o pictures are the most difficult to respond to as there sometimes is some uncertainty as to what is really being asked.
Like Bob said, some guys have gotten attacked and have become reluctent to post. Some are afraid of asking questions that appear stupid (go look at some of my early posts,I was desperate and didn’t care how dumb the questions looked).
All I can say is keep at it and keep encouraging others and I appreciate that you were willing to bring the subject up.
BTW, Bob, cold and rainy today, no skiing even w/ a barefootsuit.
dkimmelSpectatorElliot, sometimes you just get tired of posting. Burn out! Sometimes the wife has had enough of competing with DT and the Laser forum.

SwpmnSpectatorQUOTESometimes the wife has had enough of competing with DT and the Laser forum. From what I heard and saw the wife’s not around. Dr. Kimmel should have no problem posting to his heart’s desire.

kellyjblodgettdmdSpectatorAmen, David! I thought my wife was the only one complaining! Just kidding, she knows I’m addicted to this stuff.
To Elliot – don’t sweat it. People will be back in the fall, as with everything else. I think we all need a vacation – even from the forum (did I just say that out loud?) – every once in a while. I’ve been guilty of not posting enough of my own pics recently. I do appreciate the “kick in the pants” though. I’ll try to get some more pics going.
