    Hi All,

Any user of Biolitec 980? Comments on your impression and clinical experience will be appreciated.

The same question and opinion on the Diodent 810 please.

If you were to invest in a soft tissue diode, which will it be?

    Hi Andrew,
This is the first time that I’ve posted to this forum but I’ve had the pleasure to meet and learn from some of these good people as well as monitor other laser message boards. I have used the DioDent in my practice for about a year now and have been very happy.I use it every day with perio patients and have also used it for gingivectomies, biopsies, gingival troughing, flap surgeries, and a couple of bleaching cases. I also obtained training in California at an ALD approved Standard Proficiency course that gave me a full understanding of what I was doing. Since I only have the DioDent, i can only speak for my success with it from the corporate point of view, but the concept of using the laser for soft tissue treatment, regardess of the wavelength (810,980,1064,2790, 2940) has definite advantages. When I get the courage, I’ll post some cases.

I have only used the 980 on steak, but have used the 810 ADT for a while now. I would have gotten the ConBio if I were buying today. It is more compact than either the biolitec or what I have. The Con Bio diode is also quite a bit less &#36&#36&#36 than the last time I priced the 980 nM.
