michael simSpectatorDoes anyone have trouble using the diode laser glasses while troughing soft tissue? I cannot see anything well as the glasses are so dark. I am using the dignodent II from Hoya .It is so bad that i am working without any protection.

Both are on the web and you can find clearer glasses than the rose colored ones from Hoya. You only need one pair for yourself. I have alot of clear ones in the office.
Working without safety glasses with a diode at distances inside 8 feet can be hazardous to your retina (thats what absorbs the diode).

cadavisSpectatorI tried a set of 980nm inserts for my Oroscoptic TTL loupes. They are basically just a regular insert that is mounted in reverse. Not exactly user friendly.
Has anyone else found anything that works?

Glenn van AsSpectatorI know that Surgitel just came out with loupes inserts that apparently are fantastic.
Dont know if they fit Orascoptic.
