I would like some marketing advice from the board.
Recently a local news program came to my office and did a 5 min piece on laser dentidtry. I treated two patients(class5 ,frenectomy) Patients were perfect ,extolling virtue of laser dentistry.
What do you think of including a copy of this cd in a direct mail piece? Is it too much hype, or would you consider it a service, in that I am informing people of laser dentistry. Of course the cost may be prohibitive.CD duplication could cost &#361.00 per cd online. Add that to the extra cost of postage , larger envelope plus the direct mail piece itself, and I may be looking at 1.50 -2.00 per . Anyone have any thoughts on this idea?

How about if you offered a “free CD on laser dentistry” on your direct mail piece? You can give them the option of calling (perhaps with a 24 hour dedicated voice mail line) or e-mailing for it “with no obligation”. Then you would have a targeted audience with addresses for future marketing.

I upload it to my website and have them look it up as part of my ad piece.
