Hi Mickey……if its the same Israeli fellow I met at the Greater New York Dental Meeting a few years ago who was telling me about his product. I had a brief look at it then.

I will look at his web site and see what it looks like. Obviously splatter is a concern but never say never.

What did you think of the device and isnt it neat how so many devices are coming out now trying to emulate high mags available with the microscope.

    How about this one……Microvision……..

Its a head mounted set of loupes which weighs 5-7 pds and is tethered to a support pole. The mags are 4, 7 and 11 X mag

It is a microscope alternative that will be getting press in the USA and sells for around 3500 USD

You could equip 3 ops for 9 thousand USD

Its through a friend of mine and just unveiled last week at the Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry……

Dr. Paul Piotkowski is one of the directors of the company. He could tell you more and I might ask him if I could forward his email on this web site.

    Hi Glen

The Mirroscope is basicly an intraoral camera with a mirror attached to it and you look at a monitor instead of the mouth.
I tried this and it was very difficult ; but I supose looking through a scope at high mag is difficult too.
I have no connection to this company just found the product interesting(cost about &#366000).

I would love to look at this scope you mentioned,Glen.
    Thanks
    Mickey
