    Hi folks: another simple thing but something which I got caught on. Patient fractured a veneer and I thought it was porcelain but was surprised to see the remaining material etch. This happens with resin but not porcelain.
    I got a pretty nice color match after using the laser on the tooth and patient of course was ecstatic.

    Glenn,
    I had a similar repair today on #9. I stippled the tooth surface and the remaining composite with the laser prior to my repair. Seeing your pictures confirms what I did, as it was my first repair using the laser.

    Nice case Glenn, looks great! You probably don’t need that blue phosphoric acid etch.
