    Hi Mark,

    The big C is a terrible thing. Your aunt and her family are in our thoughts. My dad passed away from stomach cancer in ’97 after being diagnosed just a little over a year ago before.

    Life is very fragile. One’s world can change from one day to the next.

    In terms of the hog teeth preps Dr. Gregg did guess correctly which erbium prepared the teeth and I think Dr. van As did as well. Of course one out of two is pretty good odds!!!!!!!

    The preps were purposely done with the most comparable settings I could achieve although there are differences in handpieces, tips and another factor which is a major difference between the two erbs. Here are the settings and tips used for the preps:

    20 Hz, 300 mJoules, 600 um tips at the distal(one of the tips is tapered from 750 to 600 um)
